About the Photos
Within the last 10 minutes of Super Bowl LII, I knew that the Philadelphia Eagles were going to win. So, I left minutes before the end of the game and drove out to a predesignated location to photograph Boat House Row, knowing that it would be lit in Eagles’ green.
The skies were partly cloudy, with a reddish glow, and the river was mirror calm. The reflection was perfect. I then took this memorable photograph.
Upon my return home from photographing Boat House Row I looked out my window overlooking Rittenhouse Square and saw the entire Philadelphia Skyline lit up in Eagle green. I took this second photograph from my balcony. These two Iconic images now celebrate and memorialize Super Bowls LII and LIX.
