Photography Tour of Historic Philadelphia, Old City and Society Hill

On this photography class and tour you will walk through the most historic square mile in the United States. The Historic District in Philadelphia. Philadelphia is the home of the Liberty Bell, and Independence Hall where the Declaration of Independence was written, Benjamin Franklin’s Post office, as well as numerous historic buildings and museums. If you choose Old City, the Betsy Ross’s House, and Elfreth’s Alley, which is the oldest, continuously lived in residential street in the US, as well as Christ Church are all along the route. And we can’t pass up Old City Coffee.

If its Philadelphia’s Society Hill you choose, we will walk through its alleys, side streets, and eighteenth and nineteenth century houses. During this photography class you will have many opportunities to photograph unique architecture, street scenes, the historic old Pine and Saint Peter’s  churches, as well Pennsylvania hospital, America’s first Hospital, founded by Benjamin Franklin.

Tour meets in Front of the Pennsylvania Visitors Center @ 6th and Markets Streets. There is a limit of 12 people per group.

Morning tours  10:00 a.m-12:30 pm.
Afternoon tours 2:00 p.m.-4:30 p.m.
