Dogwood Blossoms #1

The Dogwood tree is one of the many beautiful trees growing throughout Philadelphia. This photograph was taken in Rittenhouse Square last year.
To create the sense of gentleness in the image, and accentuate the translucency of the flowers, I photographed these Spring blossoms against the brightness of the mid day sky.
