The Fishermen, Cape May N.J.
I had been down cape may for a week in mid February with the temperature in the mid teens. It was so cold for the whole week that there were large formations of frozen sea water strewn across the beach. I remember clearly that through that Saturday the temperature rose until by Sunday Morning it reached 60 degrees. I knew this would create some interesting effects throughout the town so I went out very early morning to explore. All of cape may was warm and clear, but when I went onto the beach and saw the jetties, it was a much different atmosphere. It was then that I came upon this jetty and saw these three fishermen out for their early morning catch.
The Jetty and the fishermen were shrouded in Fog dew to the rocks of the jetty being frozen against the moist warm air. Because of this Island of fog I was able to capture one of my personal favorite Photographs.
